Henri has 20 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur focused on internet-related businesses and has particular expertise in relation to algorithmics and computer science. He is the founder of / Shopzilla, acting as CTO until its sale in 2005. He was designing flat models before they were called NoSQL, and led the creation of the first product-centric online search engine. He has been coaching entrepreneurs around the globe, and is often seen conducting workshops and training sessions. Henri holds a BA in mathematics and economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Synne is an architect specialized in urban design and planning, with the relation between the formal and informal city and mapping as focus areas. Bergby has been deployed by the Norwegian Refugee Council to UN-Habitat Lebanon, first as Shelter/WASH Officer and as Programme Planning Advisor. In Lebanon she worked on building up an urban analysis unit, analysis the impact of the Syrian refugee crisis on the key cities in Lebanon and deprived neighbourhoods.

El Khoury is the General Director and President of the Board of the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC), Lebanon’s national energy agency hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Water.
He is also an Advisor to the Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water on all issues related to sustainable energy, and advisor to the UN ESCWA, the Co-Secretary of the World Energy Council (WEC) Lebanon Committee, the Board of Trustees (BoT) member representing Lebanon in the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), member of the Advisory Board of the AUB Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and the Advisory Board of the AUB Pro-Green Diploma Program.

El Khoury holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master degree in Engineering Management, both from AUB. He is a member of the Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut.

Sarah is a Lebanese fashion designer, born and raised in Kuwait. She pursued dual degrees in fashion design at Parsons the New School for Design and Media & Cultural studies at Eugene Lang the New School for Liberal Arts in New York. She moved to Beirut in 2010 and launched Creative Space Beirut, a free school for fashion design, merging her social and creative backgrounds. She continues to direct the program and act as head mentor to the students. Sarah is also the co-founder of SECOND Street, a socially conscious brand with a progressive take on the classic shirt.

Miguèle is the marketing manager of arcenciel; Lebanon’s largest independent social enterprise. In 2015, arcenciel was awarded “Social enterprise of the year” by the Schwab Foundation, organizers of the World Economic Forum in Davos. Prior to that she was art director at Leo Burnett Beirut, working on various Procter and Gamble brands for the MENA region, Eastern Europe and Latin America. She is also co-founder at Karm el Joz; a space for events and celebrations in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon.

Tony Sfeir is the newly appointed Chief Resilience Officer for Byblos.

He has been an elected member of the municipality corps since 2010. He joined both the Committee of Tourism & Culture, and of the Environment, coordinator between the city and the UN International Strategy for Disaster Reduction-Disaster Risk Recovery (UNISDR-DRR) program.

He represents the Municipality in the “Crisis Committee,” which recently performed successful response exercises for tsunami and earthquake simulations. He’s a member of Byblos Ecologia, an environmental NGO and successfully fought to preserve Byblos’ heritage by lobbying against a decree that would have replaced the city’s historic last sandy beach with a marina.

Jana Traboulsi is a graphic designer and an illustrator. She earned her BA in Graphic Design from AUB and a MA in Media and Communication Studies from Goldsmiths College, London.

For the past twelve years, she has been teaching while maintaining an active practice, designing and art directing for institutions in the social and cultural fields.

She is the art director of several publications, like the socio-political quarterly Bidayat. She collaborates with three publishing houses as a designer, illustrator and author, and sometimes editor. And contributes editorial illustrations and comics to local and international publications. She is the co-author of 'promenades en bord de mer n.2', a graphic novel published by 'le port a jauni' (Marseille, France), and has 10 other published books, in collaboration or as a single author.

Most recently she has been involved in the campaign for electoral municipal elections: Beirut Madinati, and its communication.

Raya believes in the power of stories to change people. She uses and abuses design as a tool to engage and impact on an audience. She graduated with a degree in graphic design from the American University of Beirut (Lebanon).

Her passion for narrativity and experiences led her to Central Saint Martins for an MA in Creative Practice for Narrative Environments. Raya has worked as a communication designer/consultant across Paris, London, Amsterdam and Beirut.

Through MFBs actions, and most specifically Fashion Daze, Raya was awarded the Most Enterprising Project in 2010. Following this success, she creates with her sister Lara, Made For Brands in 2012.
